The contractor knows the contract inside out, and your Employer's Agent should too. A director acts for you under JCT Design and Build and traditional forms, checking each payment application against the work in place. They also hold the contractor to the programme they signed.
Our directors have run sites for main contractors, so we know where the pressure points sit.
